Lenovo had announced the Z2 Plus smartphone in September last year. However, with the competition heating up and to take on the sub-15k market, Lenovo has reduced the price of the Z2 Plus by Rs. 3,000. The 3GB/32GB storage phone will now retail for Rs. 14,999. The other variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB is now available for Rs. 17,499.
To re-visit the specifications, the phone sports a 5-inch screen with HD resolution, powered by Snapdragon 820 processor, 3GB and 32GB storage. The phone only features a single home button in the front dubbed as the supercharged Home button, U Touch by Lenovo. The rear camera is 13-megapixel with 4K video support and the front camera is 8-megapixel.
The Lenovo Z2 Plus comes with dedicated application to track all your fitness needs. U health app keeps track of your step, distance and calories with the help of dedicated Pedometer, Gyroscope, Accelerometer and sensor processing unit of Snapdragon 820. The fingerprint sensor also acts as a gesture and shortcut button.
The Lenovo Z2 Plus (3GB + 32GB) variant will be available on Flipkart and Amazon.in in black and white colour variants at Rs. 14,999. Additionally, 4GB & 64 GB variant will also be available for purchase across leading retail stores.
