Microsoft has launched yet another handset for the Indian market – the Lumia 540. Upgradeable to Windows 10, the Lumia currently packs in Windows 8.1 and most importantly fills the Rs. 10,000 (its priced at Rs. 10,199) segment for Microsoft.
The Lumia 540 follows the same Lumia design language and packs in a 5-inch HD display, Dual SIM support, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory, microSD card slot, 8 megapixel main camera with 5 megapixel front-facing camera and 2200mAh battery.
The phone supports a slew of Microsoft services including OneDrive where users will get 30GB of free cloud storage and sweetens the deal further with India-centric deals like double the data for Airtel customers for first two months, Paytm cashback worth Rs. 1,000, Ola Cabs cashback worth Rs. 800 and two months of free subscription on Gaana.com.
The phone can be pre-booked now with sales starting from May 18.
