As expected, LG announced the G Flex2 at the CES 2015. G Flex might be an experiment but its successor is certainly not as it comes with an improved curvy design and powerful hardware. The G Flex2 now has a 700m radius curved profile and an improved self-healing back that heals minor scratches in under 10 seconds. LG says the new curve brings microphone closer to the mouth for better sound pickup and a Spin Hairline Pattern for the premium look.
On the hardware side, the G Flex2 boasts a 5.5-inch P-OLED Full HD Curved display and is powered by Qualcomm’s latest 2GHz 64-bit Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor and 2GB RAM. The phone brings laser auto focus from the G3 with its 13 megapixel main sensor and 2.1 megapixel on the front along with 3000mAh battery, 16GB or 32GB internal memory with microSD card slot supporting up to a whopping 2TB!
The phone runs the customised version of Android 5.0 Lollipop with features like Gesture Shot, Gesture View, Glance View and Fast Charge that can charge the phone to up to 50 percent in about 38 minutes.
The phone will be released this month in South Korea followed by other markets in Platinum Silver and Flamenco Red.
