Xolo brings Omega smartphone range in India

Xolo has announced a new affordable smartphone series for the Indian market. The Omega series will feature two devices, a 5-inch one and a 5.5-inch one and will boast an octa-core processor along with Xolo’s Hive UI.

Xolo targets the entry-level market but touts the premium-ness with curved back that makes it easy to hold along with smooth edges.

On the hardware side, the Omega 5.0 comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display with a 1.4GHz Octa-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8 megapixel camera with 2 megapixel camera, 2100mAh battery, 8GB internal memory and microSD card slot.

The Omega 5.5 is similar to the Omega 5.0 but adopts a slightly larger screen with a superior 13 megapixel camera and 2600mAh battery.

The Omega 5 and 5.5 are priced at Rs. 8,999 and Rs. 9,999 respectively.
