Microsoft just announced the next version of Windows. Interestingly, the new version will be known as Windows 10 and not Windows 9, as many believed. Windows 10 is said to be the “first step of a whole new generation of Windows” with improved features and better uniformity amongst devices with varying screen sizes.
Some of the new features in Windows 10 include improved Start Menu with apps and live tiles, windowed app interface, up to four apps can be snapped, improved task-view button and multiple desktops for work, play etc.
Microsoft plans to officially release the OS sometime in 2015 but interested users can dabble with a technical preview starting tomorrow through the Windows Insider Program.
