The latest iOS 8 will be available to existing iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users as a free software update on September 17, two days prior to the new iPhones hitting the retail market. The update will be applicable to devices like iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPod touch 5th generation, iPad 2, iPad with Retina display, iPad Air, iPad mini and iPad mini with Retina display.
