Motorola today announced the arrival of their new devices in the Indian market, including the new Moto G. The new Moto G will go on sale from tonight on Flipkart.com for Rs. 12,999 and will bring a faster processor, bigger screen and improved performance at an affordable price.
The display now stands at 5-inches with 720p HD resolution and is powered by Snapdragon’s 1.2GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. The Moto G will come in two SKUs – single SIM and dual SIM and just like the first Moto G, India will get the dual SIM version with 8GB of internal storage. There’s another 16GB variant as well but Moto G now comes a microSD card slot, making the limited storage a thing of the past.
The camera has also got a boost, which now stands at 8 megapixel with auto focus and front-facing 2 megapixel.
Rounding up the specs sheet is the Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, Android 4.4 KitKat and 2070mAh battery promising a full day’s battery life.
Motorola also announced the new Moto X and Moto 360 smartwatch for the Indian market but will confirm the exact pricing and availability in the coming days.
