LG has expanded the G3 family with yet another variant. After the unveiling of the G3 Beat, LG has announced the G3 Stylus, which as the name suggests, comes equipped with a stylus pen. Not a Galaxy Note competitor given the hardware it packs but the Stylus addresses the mid-range market, which Samsung has failed to address with their S Pen-toting devices.
The G3 Stylus features a 5.5-inch qHD display (960×540 pixels) and is powered a 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM. There’s 8GB of internal memory with microSD card slot, 3,000mAh battery and a 13 megapixel rear camera with 1.3 megapixel on the front.
The G3 Stylus also picks some software features from the high-end G3 like the Touch & Shoot, Gesture Shot, QuickMemo+, Dual Window, Smart Keyboard and Knock Code.
The phone will be showcased at the IFA next month and will be released in Brazil in September followed by countries in Asia, Middle East, Africa and CIS.
