Idea launches Ultra+ and Fab phones in India

Idea has expanded its 3G phone lineup with the introduction of Idea Ultra+ and Idea Fab. Targeted at the youth and entry-level market, the Ultra+ and Fab will be sold through Idea’s retail channel for Rs. 8,300 and Rs. 4,999 respectively.

Idea Ultra+ is a dual-SIM phone that sports a leather back finish, 1.3 GHz Quad core processor, 1GB RAM, 5-inch display, 8 megapixel camera and 2000mAh battery.

The Fab on the other hand features dual-SIM support, 3.2 megapixel camera, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, GPS, Wi-Fi and Android Jelly Bean OS.

Idea will also bundle data benefits of 1.6GB 3G data and free Idea TV for 3 months, with a pack priced at Rs. 259 for existing subscribers and 1.6GB 3G data and free Idea TV for 3 months, with a pack priced at Rs. 261 for new subscribers.
