Sony has released a new firmware for the PlayStation 4. The biggest addition to the v1.75 update is that it supports playback of Blu-ray 3D content, basically beating Microsoft who promised the Blu-ray 3D support for its Xbox One console.
Another improvement is in the sound department that has been improved during 1.5x playback with Blu-ray and DVD videos and ability to download featured content automatically from the Featured Content menu from the settings.
