First came Motorola with the Moto E, next was Micromax with the Unite 2 and now Karbonn has announced their most affordable Android 4.4 KitKat running Titanium S99. This device from Karbonn is priced at Rs. 5,990 and packs in some decent hardware capable of running Android’s latest version.
The Titanium S99 is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and 512MB and comes with a 4-inch IPS display, 4GB internal memory, microSD card slot, 5 megapixel camera, Dual-SIM support and 1400mAh battery.
We’re not sure how good will it fare with the budget offerings from Motorola and Micromax but one thing’s for sure, this space will heat up in the coming weeks with new entrants.
