Samsung launches Galaxy S5 in India

Samsung Galaxy S5

Samsung today announced their latest flagship phone – Galaxy S5 in India. The phone will be available nationally from April 11 for a price in between Rs. 51,000 and Rs. 53,000.

Galaxy S5 takes over the Galaxy S4 with a new perforated pattern back, faster processor, tad larger screen and lots more.

The phone will be powered by an Exynos octa-core 1.9GHz and 1.3GHz processor, 2GB RAM and features 5.1-inch Full HD display, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, 16GB internal memory, microSD card slot and 2800mAh battery.

Galaxy S5 also features a 16 megapixel camera with a fast autofocus of 0.3 seconds and gains HDR mode for video, Selective Focus mode, Virtual Tour Shot, Shot & More, S Health, Download Booster, Ultra Power Saving Mode, NFC, finger scanner, heart rate sensor and adheres to IP67 standard for dust and water resistance.
