Nikon today expanded its Nikon 1 lineup with the Nikon 1 V3 camera. The camera takes pride in offering DSLR-like picture quality and speed in a small and compact form factor. The Nikon 1 V3 is equipped with a large 18.4-megapixel CMOS sensor, new EXPEED 4A image processor and hybrid AF system that boasts 171 AF points, including 105 phase-detection points.
The Nikon 1 V3 supports ISO 160–12800 and amazing speed, capable of continuous shooting of up to 20 fps with continuous autofocus and 40 RAW format images at up to 60 fps with focus fixed at the first frame.
The camera also features Wi-Fi, a tiltable 3-inch touchscreen display (1037k-dot), Full HD movie recording support at 30fps and Slow Motion video at 120fps.
The Nikon 1 V3 will sell in the United States from April starting from $1000.
