Apple’s official stance on larger-sized smartphones may not be in line with Samsung but it’s a fact that consumers have accepted devices with big displays. Now Wall Street Journal reports that Apple is planning to ride with the market demand.
According to their sources, Apple will unveil two new iPhones in the second half of this year with one having a display larger than 4.5-inches and second having a display larger than 5-inches.
The current-generation iPhone 5 boasts a 4-inch display.
The report also mentions that Apple is looking to scrap its colourful plastic casing – currently found on the iPhone 5c – due to weaker-than-expected demand and go for an all-metal casing.
