In addition to the flagship Elife E7 smartphone, Gionee also announced and priced the Elife E7 Mini. The phone was confirmed at the launch in China last month but this is the first time we’ve gotten a glimpse of the phone. The Elife E7 Mini is priced at Rs. 18,999 and runs on MediaTek’s MT6592 1.7GHz octa-core processor, making it one of the first devices to be powered by the MediaTek octa-core solution. Another interesting feature the Elife E7 Mini boasts is the 180-degree swiveling camera, just like the Oppo N1. The phone features a single 13 megapixel camera that can double up as a front-facing or a rear-facing camera, depending on the user’s preference. Swiveling to any side activates the camera app.
As far as other features are concerned, the Elife E7 Mini comes with a 4.7-inch HD 720p IGZO display, Android 4.2 with Amigo 2.0 UI, Dual-SIM support 1GB RAM, full HD video recording and playback, Bluetooth, GPS, 2100mAh battery.
