Huawei launches 6.18mm thin Ascend P6 in India

Huawei has announced their new smartphone for the Indian market. The Ascend P6 is touted to be the world’s slimmest smartphone measuring just 6.18mm in thickness and weighs just 120 grams.

Despite the thin and light chassis, the Ascend P6 boasts some respectable hardware like a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 4.7-inch HD in-cell LCD, 8MP rear-facing BSI camera with F2.0 aperture and 4cm macro view, a front-facing 5MP camera and support for 1080p full HD video recording and playback and 2000mAh battery. The device is also equipped with Huawei’s proprietary IMAGESmart software that promises to improve the overall picture quality with contrast and colour enhancement, auto scene recognition and runs Android 4.2.2 with Huawei’s Emotion UI.

The Huawei Ascend P6 will be available in black and white with matching colour cases at a price of Rs. 29,999.
