BlackBerry hinted the arrival of BBM for iOS and Android “within days” and BlackBerry just confirmed that the launch of the cross-platform messenger will be in a few hours. The BBM app will be available in the Play Store, App Store and select Samsung stores from today. BlackBerry says they’ll follow a lineup system to ensure a smooth rollout and not face issues like last time.
For a smoother rollout, users will need to head to BBM.com to download the app and enter an email address to save a spot in line. An email will be sent to the user as soon as he’s in after which BlackBerry will notify as soon as the user is in the front of the line and can start using BBM.
