Shortly after publishing the open letter, BlackBerry’s CMO, Frank Boulben confirmed to Reuters about BBM’s future plans. As we know, BlackBerry pulled the BBM app for iOS and Android platform after some issues triggered by the leaked app. But according to the CMO, BBM will launch on both the platforms “within days”. There’s no fixed timeline yet but apparently the company has managed to solve the issue that was caused by the leaked Android app.
The anticipation of BBM on competitive platforms is understandable and even BlackBerry acknowledged the fact that they received 6 million pre-registered users for BBM on iOS and Android OS.
