LG Display may tout to mass produce flexible displays, Samsung has one upped their arch rival with the first commercial product that will go on sale in South Korea from this week. Called as the Galaxy Round, the phone sports the world’s first 5.7-inch full HD Super Flexible AMOLED Display. The phone borrows looks from the Galaxy Note 3 with a leather and stitched design at the back and features LTE-A support, Snaprdagon 800 processor, 3GB RAM, 13MP camera, 2,800mAh battery and lots more.
Samsung has developed a new user experience that takes advantage of the curved shape of the device. For instance, with Roll Effect a tilt of the phone will reveal information like date, time, missed calls, messages etc., a short press on the left or right to change the music or quickly access to albums with a left or right tilt.
Samsung hasn’t revealed the price but the phone will sell in Brown colour on SKT.
