There’s a good demand for devices with large-sized displays but most companies restrict the large screen experience for the high-end phones. Samsung did offer few products like the Galaxy Grand and the Galaxy Mega at an affordable price and it seems LG will follow the suit with the G Pro Lite. The device will look similar to the Optimus G Pro, boast a screen size similar to the high-end phone but will be cheaper and bear lower specs.
According to the leaked info, the G Pro Lite will be a dual-SIM device and will feature a 5.5-inch display with qHD resolution (960×540). The processor will also be downgraded to a 1GHz dual-core CPU compared to a quad-core Snapdragon 600 SoC and will come with 1GB of RAM, 8MP camera, 8GB internal storage and 3140mAh battery.
The expected price is expected to be around $400 and will run Android 4.1.2.
