WD has expanded its Red line of hard drives that are specifically designed for network-attached storage systems (NAS). The 2.5-inch WD Red is now available in capacity of up to 1TB for the 2.5-inch form factor while the 3.5-inch drive goes up to 4TB. The drives are equipped with NASware 2.0 technology that helps to improve the reliability of the drive and protects user data in the event of a power loss or any other disruption. Furthermore, WD Red hard drives come with 3D Active Balance Plus that also enhances the reliability of the drive and WD has set up a dedicated free premium 24×7 phone support and a three-year limited warranty.
The 2.5-inch WD Red 1TB will sell for Rs. 6,700 and 3.5-inch 4TB HDD for Rs. 15,652.
