BlackBerry today launched its entry-level 9720 in the Indian market. The device runs BlackBerry 7.1 OS and is said to be “perfect for customers upgrading from a feature phone or entry-level Android or Windows Phone device”.
The phone’s design is pretty much the same as existing BlackBerry lineup and features a dedicated BBM button. Additionally, the phone features Multicast that allows to share the same social networking update across BBM, Facebook and Twitter. The phone features 2.8-inch HVGA touch screen display, 5MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 1450mAh battery, microSD card slot and FM Radio.
BlackBerry 9720 will be available in India from September 14 for Rs. 15990.
