HTC bolsters its mid-range and entry-level segment with the introduction of Desire 601 and Desire 300. The Desire 600 brings in many software enhancements found on the HTC One like BlinkFeed, Zoe with Video Highlights and HTC BoomSound. On the hardware side, the Desire 601 Is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 1.4GHz dual-core processor, LTE support, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory with microSD card slot, 5MP camera, 4.5-inch qHD display and 2100mAh battery. Desire 601 will be available from September 2013.
The Desire 300 is touted as a “powerful” entry-level phone with dual-core 1GHz Snapdragon and 512MB RAM under the hood, 4GB internal memory with microSD card expansion, 5MP camera, 1650mAh battery. Desire 300 will sell from October 2013.
HTC also introduced Vivid Blue coloured One and One mini phones and Bluetooth-enabled BoomBass subwoofer that features a dedicated amplifier to improve the audio experience on BoomSound equipped HTC devices.
