Acer has a limited smartphone lineup and adding to its small family is the Liquid S2. Acer will showcase the phone at IFA 2013 and the phone’s USP is the ability to shoot video in up to 4K resolution. This could definitely aid in sales of UHD TVs since there’s a serious dearth of 4K content!
The device is packed with features, which includes Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 2.2GHz quad-core processor, a 6-inch full HD 1920×1080 display, 2GB RAM, LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Android 4.2.2, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC, 3300mAh battery, 16GB internal memory and bunch of Acer apps and UI customisations.
In addition to the 4K recording support, the 13MP camera is equipped with BSI sensor and LED Ring Flash, 60fps full HD recording, Quick First Shot from the unlock screen, Panoramic pictures up to 27 megapixel, exposure control and freehand capture.
