HTC today announced a new device in the mid-range segment that brings in decent hardware and software at an affordable price. The Desire 600 runs Android Jelly Bean OS and brings in some of the features you’d find on HTC’s flagship One device. For instance, the Desire 600 features Sense 5 user interface and comes with BlinkFeed – an interactive live content feed of a mix of important news and social networking feeds on the home screen, Video Highlights that creates 30 second show reels of the captured images and BoomSound that features dual front-facing speakers with built-in amplifiers.
On the hardware side, the phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, dual-SIM support with dual active system, a 4.5-inch Super LCD2 qHD (960×540) display, 8MP camera with 720p HD video recording support, front-facing 1.6MP camera and 1860mAh battery.
The HTC Desire 600 will sell in India for Rs. 26,990.
