Xolo teased the Play T1000 last week and today they’ve announced the device making it their first handset to be powered by Nvidia’s Tegra 3 chipset. The handset is priced at just Rs. 15,999 that brings in a 1.5GHz quad-core processor along with 12-core GeForce GPU and a companion core at an affordable price. Additionally, the device runs Android 4.1 out of the box and comes with a 4.7-inch HD IPS display, 8MP camera and 2MP front-facing camera, 1GB RAM, 4GB integrated memory, microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 2000mAh battery.
Tegra powered devices come pre-loaded with TegraZone, which is Nvidia’s hub to showcase Tegra optimised games and apps.
