Samsung today apparently confirmed to South Korean media the latest shipment figures of its flagship Galaxy S4. According to the new figures, Samsung has shipped over 20 million Galaxy S4 since its global launch in late April. The latest figure maintains the sales momentum of the device at one million per month, which contradicts some previous reports of sales slowdown of Samsung’s flagship phone.
In comparison to the Galaxy S III, the new Galaxy S4 reached the sales figure 40 days early and if all goes as planned, Samsung is looking at a figure of 100 million units, which will be a first for any Samsung smartphone. The current bestseller – Galaxy S III has topped at around 60 million units since its launch in May 2012.
