After weeks of teasing, Nokia has finally announced the Lumia 928 for the American market. The phone will be available in the United States from May 16 on Verizon Wireless for $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate. The Lumia 928 ups Nokia’s current flagship – the Lumia 920 with an 8.7MP PureView camera with Xenon flash.
Lumia 928 also runs the latest Windows Phone 8 OS and features a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 4.5-inch WXGA (1280×768) ClearBlack AMOLED display, front-facing 720p HD camera, 32GB internal memory, 2000mAh battery, wireless charging support and bunch of Nokia apps like Music, HERE Maps, City Lens, Drive etc.
Consumers purchasing the Lumia 928 will also get a $25 credit for purchasing apps and games.
