LG unveiled WCP-300 at the MWC yesterday that is touted to be the world’s smallest wireless charger. The charger is just 6.9cm in diameter and is designed with portability in mind with the charging area 1.7 times wider than the previous LG solution.
The WCP-300 is Qi standard certified and uses “magnetic field that in turn generates an electric current to charge the batteries in devices placed on the charging pad.”
There’s no word on the availability but expect it to go mainstream as more LG devices are launched with wireless charging support.
