After a series of leaks, Samsung finally announced their new Galaxy Note tablet. Sitting nicely between the 5.5-inch Galaxy Note II and the 10.1-inch Galaxy Note 10.1 is the Galaxy Note 8.0 that brings in an 8-inch 1280×800 display along with the same S Pen support.
Under the hood, Galaxy Note 8.0 features a 1.6GHz quad-core processor and 2GB RAM and comes with Android 4.1.2 OS, 5MP rear-facing camera and 1.3MP front-facing camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, 3G with voice calling support, up to 32GB internal memory, microSD card slot and 4600mAh battery.
The Galaxy Note 8.0 will also have some software enhancements like the Multi-window, Smart Stay, Direct Call, Popup Play and lots more.
The Galaxy Note 8.0 will be available from Q2 of this year.
