LG revealed some details and pictures of the Optimus G Pro last week and today they’ve announced the device divulging the remaining details. Expected to retail from this week in South Korea, Optimus G Pro is the first device that will be powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor. This new CPU was announced at the CES last month.
Other Optimus G Pro specs include a 5.5-inch full HD 1920×1080 display, 2GB RAM, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, 32GB internal memory with microSD card slot up to 32GB and 3140mAh battery.
The phone also features 13MP rear-facing and 2.1MP front-facing cameras that supports full HD video recording, Dual Recording and Virtual Reality Panorama. Dual Recording allows users to use both the cameras simultaneously to record a picture-in-picture video whereas VR Panorama enables images with complete 360-degree view.
LG will also showcase the Optimus G Pro at the MWC later this month.
