Intel Atom Z2420 single-core processor has been seen on few mobile phones but if the latest rumour holds any water, we might see the chip powering Asus’ 7-inch Android tablet. The tablet is identified as ME371MG and will feature a processor running at a clock speed in between 1-2GHz, a 7-inch IPS LCD (1280×800) screen, 1GB RAM, 3MP and 1.2MP cameras, microSD card slot and up to 32GB of internal storage.
Asus currently sells a decently powered Nexus 7 tablet at a really attractive price and it will be interesting to see how Asus prices this one as it will be one of the key factors that will decide the fate of this tablet.
