Acer has joined the list of manufacturers integrating Intel Atom processor in their smartphones. The offering by Acer is known as Liquid C1 and is equipped with Atom Z2420 1.2GHz processor – the same one found on Lava’s Xolo X500. In addition to this, the phone features Intel’s XMM 6265 slim modem with quad-band capability that supports up to 21Mbps, Android 4.0 OS, 4.3-inch qHD (960×540) display, 8MP camera with AF and LED flash, front-facing VGA camera, 4GB internal storage with microSD card slot up to 32GB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 2000mAh battery.
The phone is available now in Thailand for 9,990 baht and will be available in other regions in the following weeks.
