Ubuntu today unveiled their new operating system optimised for smartphones. Ubuntu claims the OS will give users the power of a full PC in a portable device but will even run smoothly on a low-spec’d phone. The operating system uses existing Android drivers sans Java and supports HTML5 that enables apps to work and behave like native apps.
Ubuntu has also got a new user interface that takes advantage of all the four sides of the screen, enabling quick access to apps, settings and other content.
