Nexus 7’s $199 price tag proved one thing – there’s a demand for low-cost tablets. Now, according to a new report by Wall Street Journal, Acer plans to lower the price bar to $99 with their new tablet. Acer is planning to launch a tablet named Iconia B1 early next year and will have a 1.2GHz dual-core processor along with 7-inch WSVGA display (1024×600).
Interestingly, the tablet is slated to compete in the developing markets, which could mean, India has a better chance of getting it.
