Samsung sells 30 million Galaxy S IIIs worldwide

Samsung’s another flagship device – Galaxy S III is also enjoying some brisk sales. The Korean manufacturer this weekend confirmed to have sold over 30 million Galaxy S III globally in just five months of its launch. To put it into perspective, the company’s been selling 1 device every 3 seconds or 190,000 units every day. Galaxy S III also reached the milestone 12 months faster than the original Galaxy S and about 9 months early than Galaxy S II.

Last week, Samsung also confirmed sales of its Galaxy Note II phablet, which surpassed over 3 million units.
