Apple updates Mac mini with new CPU, more RAM

Apple has also updated its most affordable Mac with improved hardware. For starters, the new Mac mini now comes with Intel’s latest generation of Core i5 or i7 processor that promises a performance boost by about 65 percent.

Furthermore, the Mac mini now comes with 4GB RAM as standard and features 4 USB 3.0 ports, Thunderbolt port, HDMI, card reader, Ethernet and FireWire 800 port.

The Mac mini with 2.5 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5, 4GB RAM and 500GB HDD will set you back by Rs. 39,900; a 2.3 GHz quad-core Intel Core i7, 4GB RAM and 1TB HDD will sell for Rs. 52,900; and a 2.3 GHz quad-core Intel Core i7, OS X Server, 4GB RSM and two 1TB HDDs will go for Rs. 65,900.
