One of the advantages of owning an Android device is the inclusion of free voice guided turn-by-turn navigation. But that is only applicable if you reside in a country where Google supports it. Good news for Indian Android consumers is that Google is looking to expand the service to our region, going by the latest video (now private) showing voice navigations for Indian roads.
Currently, Google Maps works by providing directions without any voice navigation.
The rollout of the service is unclear it but it will be a competitive alternative to Nokia’s Map service on Lumia or maps provided by MapmyIndia.
