Free Google Maps Navigation expands to UK

The free Google Maps Navigation that worked only in US is being reported to work fine in the United Kingdom. The Maps application was updated to beta v4.1.1 that gives British users free turn-by-turn voice navigation and has been confirmed to work perfectly fine with HTC Desire, Nexus One and some Android 1.6 devices like Dell Mini 5 and Sony Ericsson X10. Hopefully, Google will expand the free service to other regions soon.
