Nikon is the latest camera maker to adopt Android OS into its digital camera lineup. It’s the S800c from the Coolpix S series that runs Android 2.3 OS and is equipped with Wi-Fi and GPS to make geo-tagging and sharing content on social networking sites really easy. The camera will also support Google apps as well as Play Store, enabling users to download additional apps.
As for its camera prowess, the S800c can capture images at up to 16MP resolution, is equipped with BSI CMOS sensor, 10x optical zoom, full HD video recording and 3.5-inch VGA OLED display.
Nikon S800c will arrive in US next month in black and white color options for $350.
