Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer yesterday announced the latest version of its Office suite along with a downloadable customer preview for users who want to try it before the retail release. The latest Office release is said to work effortlessly with inputs like touch, stylus, keyboard and mouse. Office users can use touch gestures to pinch and zoom, swipe or use a stylus to take handwritten notes, highlight text etc.
The new Office also features Metro-enabled OneNote and Lync apps, SkyDrive, Yammer, Skype integration and more.
Microsoft also confirmed to preinstall Office Home and Student 2013 RT in every Windows RT device, including Microsoft’s own Surface.
