Apple today announced the updated lineup of the Macbook Air and Macbook Pro at the Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC). The refreshed range includes improved processor, better storage as well as improved graphics.
Coming in display sizes of 11-inch and 13-inch, the new Macbook Air can be fitted with 3rd generation Core i5 or Core i7 dual-core processors, 4GB RAM that goes up to 8GB, up to 512GB SSD, integrated Intel HD graphics 4000, USB 3.0 and a FaceTime HD camera supporting 720p. The 11-inch Macbook Air base model pricing starts from Rs. 67,900 whereas the 13-inch MBA pricing starts from Rs. 81,900.
Apple also updated 13-inch and the 15-inch Macbook Pros while killing off the 17-inch MBP. Users now have an option to choose between third-gen Intel Core i5 or Core i7 dual-core CPUs for 13-inch MBP or get a 15-inch Core i7 quad-core machine. Improved features include up to 1TB of HDD or 512GB SSD, Nvidia GeForce GT 650M discrete graphics, USB 3.0 support and up to 8GB of RAM.
The 13-inch MBP starts from Rs. 81,900 while the 15-inch MBP starts from Rs. 122,900.
