Google co-brands with manufacturers to market and sell Nexus phones and it seems they’ll adopt a similar strategy for their tablets as well. According to Wall Street Journal’s sources, the company will start selling co-branded tablets on their online store.
The article also says that until the Motorola deal is approved, Google won’t produce the tablets but will co-brand with existing manufacturers like Samsung, Asus etc. The first tablet that will go on sale in the online store is expected to be released later this year from Asus.
Google may even sell the tablet at a discounted price to enhance the prospects of its store.
