Samsung’s decision to launch a phablet last year raised some eyebrows from non-believers but the Korean giant has proved that an unconventional smartphone/tablet hybrid can sell. Today they confirmed to have shipped 5 million units of Galaxy Note globally and they managed to reach this feat in just five months since its launch in late October.
Samsung says thanks to the sales of Galaxy Note, they’re number one in the smartphone market in South Korea, China, France and Spain.
Additionally, Japanese consumers can expect Galaxy Note LTE on NTT Docomo from April 6.
