iPad 3 will go on sale in few hours in United States but the latest Apple tablet is now selling in some countries. iFixit managed to get their hands on the retail version in Australia and did what they do best – dissection.
As revealed by the teardown, the iPad has a display manufactured by Samsung and a NAND flash memory produced by Toshiba. Battery is said to take the most of the space and understandably so since the new iPad comes with a higher capacity battery to deliver up to 10 hours of battery life.
The tablet got a rating of 2 out of 10 from iFixit suggesting iPad may not be as easy to repair as it is to use.
