Epson has bolstered its projector offerings with six new projectors for the Indian market. Four are targeted towards the home market whereas the other two goes for the business crowd. The EH-TW6000 is the top of the line projector and Epson’s first 3D enabled projector. The projector is bundled with two pairs of 3D glasses and in addition to project 3D images, the projector also supports split screen technology that allows to project two images side-by-side. Additionally, it comes with two HDMI inputs, lamp brightness of 2,200 lumens, Kensington lock support and two 10W stereo speakers. It will go for Rs. 110,000.
Next up is MG-850HD, which is touted as the world’s first projector to support Apple devices. All a user needs to do is just plug the iPad, iPhone, iPod touch or even iPod nano on the dock and stream videos, images or music directly from the device. It can project images at up to WXGA resolution (1280×800), supports HDMI input, microphone-input, two 10W speakers and lamp brightness of 2,800 lumens. The MG-850HD is priced at Rs. 49,900.
The EH-DM30HD is known as the all-in-one projector due to the integration of a DVD player and DivX playback support. This projector is also HD ready, which means it can project up to 720p and comes with a lamp with 2500 lumens of brightness, integrated 10W speakers and more. It costs Rs. 52,000.
Last in the home market lineup is EH-TW480 that is powered by the same 3LCD technology and supports 720p resolution images, integrated speakers, keystone adjuster, various color modes and more. The TW480 will go for Rs. 48,000.
The two projectors targeted at the business and the education market are EB-1870 and EB-420 that starts from Rs. 87,000 and Rs. 70,000 onwards.
