South Korea’s SK Telecom has made LG’s rumored Optimus 3D successor official. The phone is called the Optimus 3D Cube and is one of the slimmest and lightest 3D smartphones that has a thickness of 9.6mm and weighs 148g. Slated to release on SKT in March, the new Optimus 3D Cube is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core processor and runs Android 2.3 OS out of the box.
The screen is a 4.3-inch one with IPS LCD panel and comes with two 5MP cameras for 3D recording and front-facing 3MP camera, NFC with support for LG Tag+ and 1520mAh battery.
LG has also optimized the device on the software front, which comes with My Suit Icon that allows users to change icons of their favorite apps and 3D video editing support right on the phone.
The phone will sell for 847,000 won.
LG will launch the same device internationally as Optimus 3D Max.
