Sony will promote Kazuo Hirai as president, according to a report by Japanese business daily, Nikkei. Hirai is currently the executive deputy president but will take place of Howard Stringer as early as April. Stringer however, will still remain company’s chairman and CEO.
The move will be finalized at a board meeting next month.
