Consumers who’ve managed to grab the $99 TouchPad in hopes of using Android, will be rejoiced to hear that Cyanogen Mod team has advanced further in porting the Google OS. The CM Team has uploaded a video that shows a working audio, accelerometer, Wi-Fi, Android Market and even Angry Birds.

Of course, the project is far from being over but is shaping up at a fairly brisk pace. The first Android port will be based on Gingerbread with the next release expected on Honeycomb or Ice Cream Sandwich (if the source code is released).
