In addition to Galaxy Tab 7.7, Samsung also announced another Galaxy product at the IFA press conference. The Galaxy Note, according to Samsung will help consumers to take handwritten notes or messages with the included S Pen. The phone runs the latest Gingerbread OS and comes with 5.3-inch Super AMOLED HD (1280×800) display, TouchWiz UI, 1.4GHz dual-core processor, HSPA+, 8MP camera with LED flash, 2MP front-facing camera, full HD video playback and recording, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microSD card slot and more.
Despite all the superior features, Galaxy Note seems to be stuck in a territory where its too big to be called a smartphone and small to be called a tablet. It will be interesting to see if Samsung hits the jackpot with this one or its Streak saga all over again.
